Nashville, TN, December 28, 2021 – Space Elements has announced the formation of its 2022 Advisory Board. Each Advisory Board Member was carefully selected for their respective experience and how they will play a role in the advancement of the company’s mission. “Space Elements welcomes Michael Bennett, Robert Daniel, and David Powell to the team,” said Ira Bell, founder and chief executive of Space Elements. “We will truly benefit from their advisory and guidance as we venture forward in the Space industry.”

Michael Bennett

Michael Bennett earned a BBA in accounting and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Iowa. Michael is a CPA. Michael has more than 35 years of experience in financial, professional development and operational roles, with 23 of those years serving in CFO positions. Michael has served in several leadership roles, including 10th Magnitude, Avant CFO, Numeric Group, ClearGauge, and Arthur Andersen. Michael currently sits on the board of directors for the National Student Leadership Foundation, acts as chair for the Iowa Gateway Opportunity Scholarship Fund, and is a member of the executive committee of CFO Chicago. Michael is a cycling enthusiast and also enjoys golf, skiing, and exploring new countries and cities. 

Robert Daniel

Robert Daniel received his Bachelor of Science in Management at Georgia Institute of Technology and is an MBA candidate at Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech for the class of 2022. Robert is a seasoned executive in financial services, management consulting, hedge funds, payment operations, wealth management, and fintech. Robert’s current focus is on expanding the startup ecosystem in the Metro Atlanta area through his advisory and mentorship with the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and Atlanta Technology Development Center (ATDC). Robert has loved space ever since he went to Space Camp at the NASA U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, in 5th grade, where he first met Alan Shephard. In addition, Robert enjoys collecting classic cars and timepieces and particularly enjoys the similarities in the engineering of their elegant designs and mechanical beauty. 

David Powell

David Powell earned his BA in Communications and MA in Public Relations from the University of Alabama. David, a 25-year veteran of the IT industry, has had an incredibly successful career in the SaaS space. He was named a CRN Channel Chief in 2017 and 2021 and listed in the Birmingham Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2011. David also made the “Top 250 People in Managed Services” list by MSPmentor a total of five times. David currently serves as President at Prodoscore and is a board member for the Inspire Brands Foundation. Prior to joining Prodoscore, David was Senior Vice President of Growth at Connectwise where he was responsible for account management and cybersecurity partner programs.  He was also instrumental in the growth of various businesses in the SaaS space including LogicMonitor (sold to Vista Equity Partners) and Perch Security (acquired by ConnectWise). David has extensive experience in high growth companies, and has been involved in three successful exits, and seven private equity backed acquisitions. David enjoys travel, live music and spending time with his wife and two children.
